I have chosen to make Breast Cancer Awareness the cause of choice for gdesign. It’s a worthy cause seeking to eradicate a terrible disease that affects far too many of us (a staggering 1 out of 8!). The compelling reason for me personally, however, is that several friends of mine have recently become survivors. Through gdesign I hope to raise awareness, as well as money, to help wipe out this disease. 50% of the proceeds of all Pink Jewels are donated to the survivor's chosen charity.

This year's Pink Jewels selection is Debbie's Dangle, a cute little pink ribbon heart that dangles happily from a sterling silver cuff with a subtle ribbon motif design. It works as a dangle charm on Pandora, Troll, Chamilia and other bracelets or can be worn on a necklace chain. It looks great and makes you feel good that you are contributing.

    

Debbie's Dangle was co-designed with my friend Debbie, a newly diagnosed Breast Cancer Survivor. She asked me to make a dangle charm for her braclet that was cute and a subtle reminder of the cause. So many charms scream Breast Cancer and she wanted something softer. She really likes the charm and hopes you will too.
